Olympic Involvement:
As Event Director for SOCOG, Steve set up the Olympic infrastructure in
Canberra and managed a large workforce - incl. 650 volunteers. The Olympic Football Tournament was a great success, with the
six events attracting 110,000 spectators to the Bruce Stadium & 400 million television viewers world wide.
International Marketing:
In 2001 Steve led a project for the Dept. of Foreign Affairs & Trade and was one of the principal authors of the
report: Australia - Korea: Strengthened Economic Partnership. He played a significant role in recommending practical measures
to enhance commercial relations with South Korea. Click

Children's Health:
For the past 3 years, Steve has assisted Robert de
Castella & his work with SmartStart for Kids! in trying to combat the rapidly growing epidemic of child obesity and making
children's health and fitness an urgent Canberra and national priority.
